Three wooden sculptures of Catholic saints from Brazilian popular devotion, entirely hand-carved by a santeira in the sertão of Pernambuco, in Northeast Brazil.

Each piece is shaped from a single block of native wood using a gouge — an ancestral technique passed down through generations of santeiros. The visible carving marks are not imperfections; they are the signature of the hand that made them. No two pieces are identical.

Displayed together in a clear acrylic case, the Trinity is meant to be lived with — on a console, a shelf, a bedside table, an entryway. Quiet presence. Everyday reverence.
