What sets jaguar weaving apart is its intricate design, representing the majestic feline sacred in many indigenous cultures of the region. The weavers employ a weaving technique called "punto de trama", which allows them to create detailed and realistic patterns of the jaguar's body, including its distinguishing features such as eyes, claws and fur.
